Joe O’Malley joins The Simons Group team
Even the best editorial and design services are useless if they’re sitting idle and untapped. That’s why having someone on hand to bridge the gap between our agency and potential clients is vital — and we’re pretty sure we have a gem on our hands.
Joe O’Malley joins The Simons Group as business development manager. He identifies new markets and educates prospective clients on the ways in which The Simons Group can improve their current communications.
Before joining The Simons Group, Joe worked as a regional sales manager for The Alliance Group, a business services group based in Omaha, Neb. His past positions also include sales consultant for Administaff Inc.; president of Eyenet Capital Corp.; and regional sales manager for IFC Credit Corp. Before channeling his energy into sales, he spent 15 successful years as a member and floor broker on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
“Not only am I thrilled to join The Simons Group team, I’m really looking forward to selling the services of a company I believe in,” says Joe. “We have a lot to offer Chicago businesses, and it’s my goal to show them exactly what we can do to fulfill their marketing needs.”
A Chicago native, Joe lives in Wilmette with his wife, Karen. His son, Sean, daughters Maggie and Katie, and granddaughter, Lily, all live in the Chicago area. Joe has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Mary’s University in Minnesota and a master’s degree in business administration from DePaul University.
