Moving to a new playing field? No problem, we’re on your team
The problem: A client who had established an excellent working relationship with us at one employer moved to another company. When he got there, he discovered the new company needed more marketing collateral than his small in-house staff could develop.
The solution: Rather than take his chances with an unknown vendor, he hired The Simons Group. Years later, when he accepted a position with another business, and faced the same challenges, he hired us for the third time in a row.
The story: We began working with the client in 2001, when he was with a Chicago firm that provided electronic community management services. We created postcards, case studies and related materials, meeting high standards for creativity and very tight turnaround times. The relationship grew, and we were disappointed to learn our original contact would be moving on — even though the company appreciated our work and continued to use us after the departure.
A short time later, our now-former client contacted us after he’d settled into his new position with a national mail-order pharmacy. He thought we had done such a great job for him at the first company that he decided to hire us again. Our responsiveness to deadlines and understanding of the pharmacy business enabled us to do more for this company than was originally planned.
This work included newsletters, case studies and benefits materials for the company. Our client then decided to accept another position with a third firm — a Chicago-based health-care information products company. Again, the mail-order pharmacy opted to continue working with us even though he left.
Our original contact hired us once again at his new company, where we work on case studies, posters and conference presentation materials. Our long-standing relationship with this client has stood the tests of time and of three employers in different industries. That’s a partnership we’re proud of.
