Sales & Business Development – Marketing Communications

Our growing company provides copywriting, graphic design, Web coding and SEO for our clients’ websites, newsletters, brochures, advertising, social media and blogs, and this new position requires someone with at least three years previous sales experience, with professional sales training preferred.
You will be calling into our extensive database to identify needs and set appointments, so you must have demonstrated success in talking to prospects on the phone and in person, plus excellent organization and follow through. You’ll understand the value of marketing, can have an intelligent conversation about old media (newsletters, brochures and websites) and new media (LinkedIn, Facebook, and SEO), have the ability to present alternative pricing plans, and enjoy helping companies achieve their goals.
You’ll need to be entrepreneurial, independent, and thrive on a challenge. We have a unique company that is friendly, focused, and really cares about having our entire staff succeed. To succeed yourself, you’ll need to be a high-energy team player who is a self-starter and is straightforward, likable, organized and smart. At least three years of prior telephone, sales or marketing experience is required, as are strong persuasive writing skills and the proven ability to manage relationships from initial contact through close.
